Our mystery-solving gang is in Chicago investigating the haunting of a historic hot dog factory when they team up with famous competitive eater Joey Chestnut who's in town for the annual hot dog eating competition! Joey joins the gang in uncovering the truth behind a horrible old tree monster that's terrorizing the hot dog factory and threatening to get the competition shut down. Shut down the hot dog eating contest?! Even Shaggy and Scooby can get behind solving this mystery! Especially since Shaggy and Scooby have teamed up with Joey to help him get ready for one of the biggest eating bouts of his career. But if they can't solve the mystery not only won't there be a contest... there just might not be anything left of our gang! Not to mention no more hot dogs! No more hot dogs?!
