When Alan ditches Gumball to do something more fun Gumball is desperate to track him down and make him pay for his betrayal. Gumball has through gritted teeth prepared a special dinner for Alan to apologise for the way he has treated him in the past. When Alan cancels he is overjoyed until a post on Elmore Plus reveals Alan lied about his Mom being sick and is having a day of fun with his family instead. Gumball tracks down the traitor to give him a piece of his mind but when he finds out his Mom really is sick he has to find a way to make it up to him.
