After another unsuccessful attempt on Tom's part to catch Jerry, a traveling cat salesman named Carver is happy to sell Tom just what he needs; a series of elaborate mousetraps, tricks and schemes. Tom makes numerous attempts to dish out a world of hurt to Jerry, but only succeeds in hurting himself.
