Annie and Clarabel have a nighttime delivery so they need to get to their destination that day well rested. Thomas volunteers to take them but must remain quiet to let them sleep the whole ride. Thomas has a really difficult time keeping quiet with lots of noisy impulses, places and things he passes, almost waking Annie and Clarabel. Thomas is eventually joined by Percy, and they even sing a lullabye, but they'll find out whether or not it's enough to last them the whole ride.
